Sun rising above the Morvan, Burgundy France. What a great sight

Sometimes you are lucky and you make a really beautiful picture. Or a friend sends you a picture and you think: "is this really a picture made this morning, it looks like a page in a calendar or an expensive book.

But it isn't a picture from a book. Michiel, our friend, who lives a little higher up in the hills in the Morvan, 10 minutes by car from our house, made this picture two days ago at around eight in the morning and sent it to me.

What you see, is the valley where the fog is still hanging, but soon the sun will come higher and the fog will disappear.

He gave me permission to publish it on Steemit.

I was so enthusiastic about his picture that I was up very early yesterday morning and also made pictures of the sun rising near our house.

I thought the pictures were very nice. But, one minute later my phone gave the WhatsApp sound and Michiel sent me two other pictures from his hilltop. These pictures were also taken yesterday. The first earlier than the second, that's obvious.

Well, when you live at the end of the world like he and his wife, you are allowed to make these amazing pictures. I was lucky to receive them so I could share them with all of you.

Have a nice and sunny day,
Clio

The pictures are really like in a book my friend. Wonderful shots both from you and your friend!
I have actually managed to take some nice pic of the sunset some weeks back when I went to fish in the deep ocean, it was like seeing the sun just infront of me! Simply magical moments!

I saw the picture in your post and left a comment yesterday!! Very very beautiful!

It is sunny and nice today in Oklahoma. We are not as scenic as your French countryside. These ar very nice photographs.

Oh, you are from Oklahoma! I remember the early seventies, we made a trip to the US. We bought a car in NY and drove to SF and back. When we passed Oklahoma, we had some trouble with our car. There was an old man (in our eyes, we were 20!) with an old garage and he helped us. When we wanted to pay, he said: ' just remember old Okee' (he pronounced it like this, meaning inhabitant of Oklahoma of course. That's a nice remembrance of Oklahoma.

thx for sharing
