Hi folks. Tonight, we'll be heading into the jungle for our Daily Nature Fix. Here are a few photos from our time in Costa Rica. It's been a few years since I've been to the tropics... I'm itching to get back!
^^^One of the several postcard worthy beaches in the Manuel Antonio National Park. I'm not big on beaches really, but these ones were stunning.
^^^This is a view looking across the canopy of the Monte Verde Cloud Forest. Many of these trees were well over 200 feet tall. This was one of the highlights of the trip, for me.
^^^This little crab was in the company of around 10 others in the area. I never knew that any crustaceans were arboreal, to be honest. I was surprised to see these guys a good 6 or 7 feet off the ground, out on the tiny limbs.
^^^A male three-toed sloth climbing around on some palm fronds. He must have heard us bumbling around below as, you can see, he turned to look at us.... slowly. :)

In about 10 minutes I will be like that three-toed sloth but instead of a tree, I'll be in my bed lol. That is a lovely beach I would like to grab my snorkel and do a spot of swimming to see whats down there. stuff like that interest me :)

Love the first photograph! Right now, I want to be in a place like that lying comfortably on a hammock with my favorite book in one hand and a maragrita in the other. Craving for this so bad!
