Daily Nature Fix: Ying-Yang Jellyfish. (Original Photo)

in nature •  7 years ago

Hi guys, with 5 minutes to spare, I'm getting this post in right under the wire!  I'm also feeling a bit under the weather so this one is going to be short.  A while ago I posted a photo of a jellyfish that was on exhibit at the massive Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA.   I thought the photo I posted then, around 3 months ago, was the only one that came out decent... but I tonight I found that a few more came out decent if I tweak them in Photoshop.  I'd like to share one more of them with you guys.  This time it's a pain of the jellies, side-by-side, going in opposite directions.  They reminded me of a ying yang position, hence the title.  Here they are:

These guys are Pacific Sea Nettles.  Their 'dome' top can grow up to 3 feet in diameter!
