HERE THE HISTORY:

Christian was a lion found in 1969 by two Australians living in London, John Rendall and Anthony 'Ace' Bourke (mistakenly cited in a Daily Mail article as Ace Berg) at the Harrods department store. They found it, the sale, in the department of exotic animals and, moved with their conditions and future, they decided to buy it.

Rendall, Bourke and their girlfriends Jennifer Mary and Unity Jones took care of the lion until he was one year old.
