SOMETHING OLD BUT SURPRISING!

THEY HAVE ALREADY LISTENED TO CRHISTIAN THE LEON ... FOR NOT ONLY SHOWS HIS GREAT LOVE ABOUT THEIR OWNERS BUT ALSO THE ANIMALS HAVE FEELINGS.

HERE THE HISTORY:Captura.PNG

Christian was a lion found in 1969 by two Australians living in London, John Rendall and Anthony 'Ace' Bourke (mistakenly cited in a Daily Mail article as Ace Berg) at the Harrods department store. They found it, the sale, in the department of exotic animals and, moved with their conditions and future, they decided to buy it.

Rendall, Bourke and their girlfriends Jennifer Mary and Unity Jones took care of the lion until he was one year old. The increasingly larger size of Christian and the cost to maintain it made them perceive that they could not keep it in London for long. The solution came when Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna, stars of the film Born Free, visited the Rendall and Bourke mobile store, where Christian spent his days. Travers and McKenna suggested, then, that they request the help of George Adamson, a Kenyan conservationist in which, with his wife Joy, was the subject of his film. Adamson agreed to help them in Christian's adaptation to wildlife in the Kora National Reserve.

Adamson gradually introduced Christian to an older lion - 'Boy' - and, subsequently, to the fêmea fillet Katiana, in the attempt to deform the core of a new side. However, some misfortunes ravaged this new side: Katiana was probably eaten by cocodils while drinking water. Another fêmea was killed by leonessalvajes. The events reached 'Boy' in such a way that he lost his ability to socialize-yes with other lions and humans. He ended up being shot in the heart by Adamson, after fatally wounding a man.

In this way, Christian ended up being the only survivor of the original side.

Adamson continued his work, and, after a year, the camp established itself in the Kora region, with Christian as the leader of the camp initiated by 'Boy'.

When Rendall and Bourke were informed by Adamson delexitoso result in 1971, they traveled to Kenya to visit Christian. The visit was filmed and transformed into the Christian documentary, The Lion at World's End. According to this document, Adamson warned Rendall and Bourke for the possibility of Christian not remembering them, but the film shows a lion, initially cautious, running to meet the two men, wrapping their arms around his shoulders and licking their faces The documentary also shows the fêmeas Mona and Lisa, and a filhote called Supercub saluting the two men, due to the influence of Christian.

Rendall tells of a final encounter, which occurred in 1974. At this time, Christian was already in front of his own side, had his filhotes and was almost twice as large as in the video of the 1971 meeting. Adamson warned them that the trip could be in vain, because he was new to the Chirstian side 9 months ago. However, they discovered, upon arrival in Kora, that Christian and his side had returned to the Adamson complex the day before their arrival.

Rendall describes the visit he did. Bourke and George Adamson did: "We called him, he got up and started walking in our direction, slowly, then, as if he were convinced that we were ourselves, he began to run to meet us, polish us and hug us, as he used to do, placing his paws on our shoulders. "

The reencontro lasted until the next day, in the morning, when everyone was sleeping. According to Rendall, this was the last time anyone saw Christian.

In August 2008 the meeting, in its various versions, had been seen more than 20 million times.
