Ipê and climate change?

in nature •  7 years ago

The Ipê is a majestic tree that is quiet common in Brazil and very popular. When it flourishes it is marvellous to see the marvellous splendour of the colors. On the photo you see the pink variety but there is also a white one and a yellow one. I took this photo at the end of last week and that is strange because the Ipê is not supposed to flourish now. It should be a month to a month an a half later. Last year the flowers showed also earlier than usual. I wonder if this is caused by climate change.
