Growing dwarf bananas can be fun and rewarding, as well as delicious!

Wild songbirds of all types will begin alerting you when the first bananas start to ripen, but when bigger birds start arriving, it may be time to bring the bananas in the house.

Here you can see some of my chickens, one artfully balanced on top of the bunch of bananas while another eyes her jealously.

hahahha great photo crafty girl defending her find......we always tend to leave one or 2 bunchs for the birds and the rest dont really get touched....bananas are the best!
