Why man? And why "power over nature"?
Quoting from YouTube page I see two big issues here:
2001: A Space Odyssey - The Dawn of Man
This scene shows the beginning of the Paleolithic Era, and reveals that, by the usage of tools, man could stop being a victim of the world to become an active element, who has the power of action over nature.
1. Dawn of MAN
What has happened to HUman?
2. "power of action over nature"
Which is an original sin of the human race - constant fighting AGAINST nature and trying to conquer it.
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!!
All our wrongdoing, all suffering, all problems stem from this one premise - that (hu)man is better than nature, that we know better, that we are worthier, ... Whatever ...
What presumptuous fools are we. Dangerous, too.
It's a grim day, sorry for my foul mood.
