I have heard plenty people complain of negative effects of shea butter and I wonder.
Anyways, maybe they used a refined version or one adulterated with fats.
The goodness of unadulterated shea butter cannot be overestimated...
Village shea butter tó baddt.
It contains vitamins A, E and F
Has essential fatty acids and nutrients that aids the production of collagen that improves elasticity of the skin and delay premature ageing.
It has SPF of 6 which makes it good as a sunscreen.
Contrary to the popular belief that shea butter is oily and not ideal for oily skin, it is non- comedogenic with a rating between zero and 2 which cannot clog your pores.
It plumps up thin skin which makes it awesome as a facial moisturiser.
Also used in the treatment of acne and relieves muscle aches and pains.
Unadulterated shea butter doesn't darken the skin, your skin goes dark if it has a prior exposure to bleaching agents.
You can even eat it raw or add to tea and pap to clear congested respiratory tract. Ensure its of food grade before you consume though.
When shea butter is whipped with exotic oils as a result of infusion with herbs, it glides on the skin like velvet.
