Sikhoh-khoh leaf

This one plant has several names in the local language of Aceh. One of the benefits of the leaves is to treat wounds.

Chromolaena odorata, the latin name of the plant this. In Aceh, this wild plant, called "sikhoh-khoh", "gapah itek", or "sugot bui". Outside of Aceh, some call this plant, kopasanda.

Seeing "sikhoh-khoh" growing on the edge of the garden, reminds of my childhood. In the past, I had a knee injury from a fall when I ran down a gravel road. At different times, leg injuries from falling while playing football on a pebble-filled field.

I immediately took some leaves "sikhoh-khoh" growing on the edge of the garden, or on the edge of rice fields. Then, I smashed the leaf with a stone. Can also be destroyed by hand, so the leaves are watery. After that, stick to the wound. Suddenly, the bleeding on the wound stopped. A few days later, the wound on the leg is gone.

So, if you have a foot or hand injury, no need to go to the pharmacy. Simply use the leaves "sikhoh-khoh", the wound will heal. In villages in Aceh, until now the leaves of "sikhoh-khoh" are known to be very effective for treating wounds.[]
