About four months ago I was dating someone for a while and was looking for new places to take him since I felt like it would be nice to get out of town for a few hours.
Now western Germany(where I live) isn't really known for any beautiful landscapes or anything like that.
Well at least I thought so until I discovered a 11km(about 6.8 miles) long canyon just an half hour drive away from my home.
So a couple days later we got onto a train to this little neighboring town called Lengerich and after roaming the streets for about half an hour we reached this big old - pretty ordinary looking - forest.
Now after walking through the woods for some more minutes we had reached our final destination - the canyon!
Heres a little Photo I took the day, though in real life the water a clear, deep blue.
If you ever plan to make a trip to Germany, there's definetly much more beautiful nature to see than just the mountains in Bavaria!
