Found this baby snapping turtle making his way back to the water. Very hot day and he was looking to cool off. Had to snap some quick photos and then I relased him back to the water. Was also very surprised when later in the day I saw a snapper with a 2' or more diameter shell! These Snappers do amaze me... really remind me of somthing prehistoric.
