An overshot spot, sure - but one of my favorite views I’ve seen since starting photography. Admittedly, I have a lot of favorite views, but still 😂😂 .
This photo is a long exposure taken before sunrise at Sunwampta Falls. It’s pretty neat how naturally perfect some areas can be! Just try to think if you were creating your own landscape and starting to putting the pieces together..okay, yeah let’s have a river getting split by an island...then let’s have the river meet at a crazy waterfall...okay and let’s add some massive mountains in the background..and let’s throw some trees on the island..and now let’s give the river a gorgeous blue tint! If someone tried to explain this place before I saw it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed them 😁
Shot Info:
Nikon D610 w Nikon 16-35 f/4
Sky: ISO400, 16mm, f/4, 903s
Land: ISO50, 16mm, f/18, 90s (taken closer to sunrise to reduce noise)
Remarkable photo!
