Years and years ago, long before the Europeans arrived, Little Bluff Mounds sat on a cliff overlooking the Mississippi River. The mounds were built to pay tribute and worship the sun. The exact orientation of the mounds were built to face the Sun directly on the Solstice.
Wow, these are huge mounds to be built. It's hard to believe that they are not natural.
