Fall Leaves in the Ozarks

Fall is just around the corner. Nature keeps reminding me of that. While some plants and leaves simply die and turn brown, many others turn brilliant shades of red, yellow, and orange before succumbing to the shortened days.

I've been keeping my eye out for such specimens of color and I have a few to share with you. Hope you enjoy a bit of fall in the Ozarks.

I'm so excited for fall hiking and exploring! I can't wait until I can go out and about again. Beautiful pictures as always! :)

I hope you are well enough to go soon!! Thank you, Melbert!

nice leaf color. but unfortunately, pests ruin it.

I don't mind it so much when they leave neat patterns behind. Thank you, @podanrj!
