Danube, the second largest river in Europe

The Danube is probably one of the most spectacular river in Europe. With over 2800 km in length and crossing over 10 countries, it's not surprising that this river has it's own story that has to be taught to everyone. We started our journey from Romania, 550km to the west where it all starts, in the Black Forest mountains, Germany.
It was a long and tiring trip, but after I arrived there I couldn't believe my eyes!

I'ts incredible to see that such a huge river can all start from a little shy ,,water jet''. Every drop of water will then travel thousands of kilometers across multiple countries and capitals meeting new ones from other tributaries. After every meter, the river gets bigger and bigger, reaching a discharge of 6600 cubic meters every second, and finally spilling across multiple ways in the Black Sea, Romania!

This is where the Danube meets the Black Sea. After such a spectacular transformation, it all ends in the wide sea. You can't even tell it's the same river from the first photo.., the change is absolutely incredible!
