In One With Nature's Beauty.

This is the beautiful lagoon of Sumilon Island in Cebu, Philippines. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in this beautiful and enchanted island. This is us seated on a footbridge.

I set my camera in a timer mode with a tripod to capture this moment as my wife was captivated by the beauty of the place while I gaze my eyes of where my camera is.

One could not stop to admire the crystal clear water and the green scenery of the lagoon as one will be absorbed by its very own beauty. The reflection of our own images is a good testament of how undisturbed this place is. The serenity and tranquility of the place is suited for contemplation and meditation. To be in this place is to be one with nature itself because the ambiance of the lagoon is like experiencing nature at its best.

The Island of Sumilon is located at the southeastern tip of the Municipality of Oslob in the province of Cebu. The island has an area of 24 hectares and has clear waters with varying aquamarine hues and white sand beaches in different areas of the island.

The island is being managed by Blue Water Sumilon Island Resort but it is still under the supervision of the Municipality of Oslob. Aside from the Island the other attraction Oslob is famous of is whale watching.
