I am no fan of snakes... so you can imagine the surprise we got while we were checking the garden this morning and found this. We believe is it just a tree snake... so it's harmless, never the less it had better stay outside and not get any ideas about coming in!!!

Oh, thanks... lol. I was just trying to get a good clear pic to have it identified. Snakes freak me out... I don't mind it being here (sort of) now that I know it is harmless... but I'm a little on edge about the idea that it may try to come inside.

They come inside all the time... it's the most common snake to be removed from homes in Brisbane. There was one not too long ago, not that far from here that had one removed from their bed sheets!! I think I would die if I could that!!! Copperheads don't sound friendly!! : /

Yeah, copperheads are venomous...our dog was bitten last fall, but he's ok now...it was a long couple days of nursing the wound though!

Yes, you are right, although I'm sure I will still freeze dead in my tracks if it was to happen... I would still freak out. This has been going through my mind... I have been thinking about how I would handle the situation, lol. We heard a heap of birds going crazy in the bush land next door to us, so we were thinking it might have been the snake.
