I have always been afraid of tornados since I watched "Twister" as a kid. I always thought they were big and super destructive.
I photographed this awesome shot while at a rest/nature area traveling back through Kansas headed East from Denver.
I was actually not afraid... It wasnt tremendously loud... Like a city bus starting up or maybe a train in the distance. I was just amazed to see one as living on the East Coast, we do not get much except rain and the occasional hurricane.
Just wanted to share this awesome tidbit with everyone!!!
