Yet it seems we dont know how to manage them for that reason our #sufferings.....more especially #economically.Speak of the gold, cocoa, plantain, fuel, oil, bauxite, diamond, timber,palm and many others i do not even know of.

INDEED WE ARE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE.

The coconut tree is useful for the production and making of many products which will be touched on as we delve deep on it

[an expert in the climbing of the tree to bring down some fruits]

As early as 7:00am, we had to move around the village to get and expert in the climbing of the coconut tree. surprised as to why we needed an expert?
I have never tried to climb one in my life time and a person who is heavier cant becasue of the weight , he either has to fall or the tree brings him down itself ...lol

COMPONENTS OF THIS TREE AND WHY IS IT OUR PRIDE
Moving to the village around cape-coast thus the central part of Ghana, the prominent thing one see along the road and even on the land is the #COCONUT-TREE in its beauty and standing high on its roots.

Composition and Uses:

The following products of coconut are useful to human being.

• Coconut Water:

The water of the tender coconut is refreshing and serves as a drink and as a useful substitute for saline glucose in intravenous infusion in the hospitals. It increases bold circulation in the kidneys and cause profuse dieresis.

• The Stem:
  The stem is used for construction of houses even as pillars and leaves are used for thatching, fencing and making baskets and broomsticks and many other household products.

• • It is considered to be a natural beverage with low-calorie and the tender(young) coconuts are said to contain more nutrients than the matured ones.

• It contains antioxidants, vitamin C, amino acids, enzymes, B-complex vitamins, and minerals like iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese etc.
  

• • The plant contains a hormone known as the cytokinins , this hormone in the health drink exhibit and anti-aging property, anti-cancer and an anti-thrombotic effects.Its micronutrient- rich property help to boost the Immune system.

vi) The Coconut #Inflorescence is also used in the production of fruit #juice. The fermented juice is the common alcoholic drink in the coconut region.Gins and vinegar are also some other
products obtained from the inflorescence of the Coconut Tree.
