Underwater Peace

What is it about being underwater that feels so peaceful, so ethereal?

For me, it's a place to calm down. To be quiet.

How can one bay hold so much life? Coral reefs are mysterious places on our planet. They hold much of the life that exists in our oceans, and they provide food and money to local communities.
There was a study about how water affects the brain and how it is often therapeutic for those recovering from traumatic experiences. People who are near water have higher levels of happiness.
I love listening to the tiny shrimp crackling their pinchers, the whales singing loudly to each other, the waves crashing on the shore. I love floating on the surface feeling weightless. I love swimming alongside the sea turtles.
How about you? Do you feel at peace underwater? Or surrounded by trees? Where do you calm down in nature?
