I have never created anything like this before. This piece was inspired by photos my father has been taking of deer that have been visiting my parents country home on a regular bases. The leaves are a mixture of cedar, coffee, eucalyptus, maple (thank you to the Winnipeg conservatory for allowing me a free for all on pruning day) and a few hydrangea flowers from my brothers garden. Mixed medium with acrylic on canvas.
