The Abandoned Hotspring

in nature •  7 years ago  (edited)

We once again hit the road and found ourselves on a road seldom traveled.

We bet on going as far as the road leads and we found ourselves on a kinda abandoned hotspring.

This hotspring was once developed for tourism here in Negros Oriental, Philippines. But on the year 2012 when Typhoon Sendong hit the country, the surrounding mountains, unfortunately, had a landslide thus covering the area.

I have heard from the people living near there that, this hotspring is about to be revived again for public and they have actually started to work on it by clearing the area but some parts of it still needs some work as the stairs going to the pool was cut off and we actually have to trudge along the big rocks just to get to the pool.

It was just so amazing how those steams are actually coming out from the ground and how the water is really hot like i could even bring some eggs and soak it to the water and it will be cooked in acouple of minutes.

The only thing tho is the smell of the sulfur. As we all know, sulfur is a natural mineral that can be found near the hotspring and volcanic craters. Thou some hotspring have very low sulfur in them, but this hotspring has so much sulfur in them. The smell might not be that good but the healing benefits of it is amazing.

The water was really hot, that i almost dont wanna dip my body in it, but i did anyway. It was so hot at first but after a couple of minutes your body will get used to the temperature.

It was so relaxing and enriching to the body and spirit.

Hi. Thanks for the compliment. Im still practicing how to write as i am new to this whole kind of thing. I would appreciate it if u can give me some tips 😊☺

Tips. For start you can do researched posts. So you can research a new topic on the internet, read it and write your own perspective but if that is too hard at this point. Just try yourself and write using you own word. Pick a topic or anything you see around and look at it and ponder then build on it, till it becomes something. You can also share things about your daily life, experiences. If you are in school, write about what you learned in school. If you have a business idea and you don't if it is good enough, then you a post to testrun it and the community will give you feedback
