Last winter I found this little fella sprouting alone. I took the pic and it posed for me.
It is a chili species called "chiltepin".
Chiltepins are wild chilis that grows in my state (I live in Sonora, Mexico). I am very fortunate to have a tree on my backyard.
It has aprox. 100,000 scoville units, which means it is very spicy.
