😊

if you have a pet, one of your responsibilities to make sure that your pet has plenty of water and food.

But...what about fish?

Well, you have to feed your fish, but you do not have to give them water. Because they are living and swimming in water, they would not need water, there is water all around them! 😊

But...do fish need to drink that water?

Well, some fish actually do, but others do not. It all depends on the fish and where it lives. There are two kinds of fish saltwater, and freshwater.

😊

They lives in two kind of water, saltwater fish it lives in oceans and other fish called freshwater fish lives in ponds, lakes, and rivers.

Well, freshwater fish do not drink water, but absorb the water through their gills and skin into its body. On the other hand, saltwater fish do drink water by opening their mouth, and take out the salt through their gills.
