Axolotl is a unique creature also known as a Mexican walking fish or a Mexican salamander. Though the axolotl is colloquially known as a "Mexican walking fish", axolotl is not a fish but an amphibian.

We know that there are differences between reptiles and amphibians. For example, lizards are reptiles and axolotis are amphibians. For example, did you know that human beings and reptiles have four-chambered hearts?

Well, amphibians have a three-chambered heart. That's one example of how appearance can be deceiving. Salamanders might look like lizards, but in fact they are very different.

Their eyes are lidless, and their heads are wide. adult mexican walking fish, at age 18–24 months, they have a body length of approximately 15–45 cm.

I used to have a pink one with the frilly gills. So cute the way they tread the water and wobble side to side. Great post!
