Your Face While Browsing Steemit.com

Hey all,

Just wanted to take the day and start it off with something a little less serious and more funny than usual. I wanted to catch all of your guys' attention so I posted a picture of this derpy bird that I took.

These guys are absolutely mental! They look hilarious but if you try to put your fingers in their cage they'll bite your fingers off.

As always, I prefer wild animals to stay the way nature intended them to be - in the wild.
Zoo's might be fun for us to visit, but it's a prison to them. I would rather all of these animals be placed in a sanctioned safe area away from poachers and all the shitty people of this world that want to harm our animals.

Be nice to animals - I hope you enjoy and this made you laugh.

On a side note, congratulations to all of you for being here before Steemit reached its 1 millionth user! It took Steemit two years but it's a huge milestone for things to come. I can't imagine what the next 5 years holds for Steemit, but the way things are going, it's going to be big and bold!

What a funny face :) I can imagine I really look like this while browsing. I do agree with your opinion on zoo's. The animals should stay in wild! Thank you for sharing.

Gracias Amigo.

That photo is hilarious :D

Photographing animals is fun and sometimes surprising. You'll be looking for that perfect shot to show the beauty of the animal and then they give you a comical pose like this:

I agree with you too - I wish there were not animals in zoos where they are confined to only experience a small portion of living compared to being free in nature.

It is exciting that Steemit reached its 1 millionth user! I joined in July of 2016 - the site has changed so much since I started! @timcliff and I were at Steemfest this last fall. The site is growing so fast - eventually they are going to need an auditorium for Steemfest to fit everyone lol :)

Hahah I love the squirrel! I actually had one fall out of a tree and I actually took it in and took care of it until it got attached to me. You've caught it in the perfect moment.

I definitely agree with you, we are still in the infancy stage in regards to the bigger names out there, but we'll continue to grow as Steemit develops further and further!

Thats the face my sister always makes

really great
you are showing te real beauty of animals i liked it

Hello @lpreap
This noble ostrich is very similar to a friend of the house. Of course he is cute and our friend looks like him. That does not mean that our friend is good looking.

Yeah, it is sad seeing animals caged up. I agree with some of it though. There are certain animals which are almost extinct and keeping them for breeding purposes kind of makes sense; however, some of those animals won't even breed in captivity. For the select few that will, it seems somewhat rational to make an attempt to save a species. This however, is not the case 99% of the time. We keep them caged for out own amusement.
