Sun and Moon Halos

The first time I saw a Sun Halo it blew my mind. I later realized that it was formed from the clouds refracting the suns light. I have seen a few more ever since, as well as some Moon Halos, and they are normally formed when there are cirrus or cirrostratus clouds in the sky. It works on the same principle as rainbows, except, instead of water, it is ice crystals.
