Salar de Uyuni, found high up in the Andes in southwest Bolivia at an elevation of 11,995 feet, is the biggest salt level on the planet, covering more than 4,086 square miles. It was at one time an ancient lake that went away, abandoning 11,000 square kilometers of powerful forsake like scene made up of shining brilliant white salt, odd shake developments, and interesting prickly plants secured islands. The best spot to watch this strange scene is focal Incahuasi Island.

There isn't much untamed life in this genuinely desolate biological community, with the exception of around 80 types of feathered creatures and the a huge number of pink flamingos that come in November.

The salt hull, in the vicinity of 7 and 66 feet profound, covers an ocean of brackish water. The salt is exceptionally rich in lithium, representing up to 70 percent of the world's stores of the mineral.
