in nature •  6 years ago

Dandelion grew huge next to horse manure pile. Leaves taste better than I ever had, not bitter.

Horse stuff is the best! 🌻
That is a very big dandy indeed!
Seems dandies are everywhere
today, even in our yard! :-)

Taking over the world. Weed and feed will rid them in your lawn.

Dandelion, which literally translates into “lion’s tooth” in French, is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, calcium, and detoxifiers, which explains its common inclusion in medicines. (https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/herbs-and-spices/health-benefits-of-dandelion.html)
Well, I did not know it.
Greetings @manorvillemike

Thanks for all the info. @djao20

Sounds like that horse manure is helping your things grow nice and big. Sure worth the odor. : )

We will see, no odor it's old like me.

cool shots 🌼 happy weekend, GREETINGS!

The leaves on that plant are more rounded. I’ve found those are less bitter than the more jagged leaves.

Thanks for pointing that out. :-)
