Wildlife on my way

Good morning Steemians, I hope you are having a great weekend, today I want to show you a couple of beautiful animals that I find in my way, although maybe some of them are not so pretty, but it does not matter, just see them.

Hypsiboas crepitans

The first animal I want to show you is an amphibian, a frog with the scientific name of "Hypsiboas crepitans" and locally known as "banana frog".
I found this little friend in the botanical garden of Maracaibo, the day of the met up made by cervantes, it was a surprise encounter, since it fell from the tree that gave us shade, yes, and it was a very opportune encounter because I was looking for animals to photograph , and this little friend was photogenic as fuck.

The Hypsiboas crepitans is a type of frog that is very common in humid places, so you can find them near rivers or swamps, they are usually of gray color and they feed on small insects, so I noticed, it is normal that these frogs climb trees to sleep, so do not be afraid if one of them falls on your head, they are also very friendly so do not hurt them if you see one.

Translucent pottery

The second animal that will show is a mollusk, a somewhat special snail, the Translucent Poteria is a type of terrestrial snail that also has lungs to breathe, it also has gills to extract oxygen under water, it feeds on leaves, so I could see, is a snail native of Venezuela and a little bit hard to find.

I found this little friend a few days ago on the grounds of my building, when I first saw him I thought it was just the shell of a freshwater snail known as the great ramshorn, that maybe someone threw to the floor, so I left it lying In the sand, big was my surprise that at the time, when I came back, the supposed shell was climbing the bottom of a small tree.

Seeing that it was the only snail of this type that I could observe in the terrain, I decided to adopt it before it was eaten by an animal, so I prepared a very nice place for him while I take care of him, now he is called Uzumaki (Spiral in Japanese) It's very easy to take care of, you just have to make sure you have a sheet and it will stay there until you finish it, so it's perfect as a pet.
