Orchids on an Old Tree

in nature •  6 years ago  (edited)

Walking in the forest I found many orchids. There were so many that I picked some to plant at home. I put them in a trunk of a twisted tree that is very close to my door. Over time they have multiplied, and every year, at the right time, they flourish in all their splendor. I took advantage of the morning sunshine over them to make these photos.

These flowers are so beautiful. Has anyone noticed anything different in the flower of this last photo?
