Big Flock Of Black Birds

in nature •  7 years ago

In this video there is a lot of black birds. These are sometimes hard to identify. I think these are mostly Starlings and Brown-headed Cowbirds. This was in a field just next to The Celery Fields in Sarasota, Florida. These birds seem to always go around in flocks, unlike the Red-winged Blackbirds that just stay in family groups.

What amazes me everytime is how these birds just know what position they have in a flock.
