El araguaney es considerado un árbol icono de mi país puesto que esta relativamente en todas partes, tiene una particularidad, el dura todo el año como un árbol común y corriente verde y cuando se acerca el mes de marzo el se tiñe de un hermoso amarillo y es curioso porque todos los araguaneys en ráfaga realizan esta misma acción en conjunto y también es considerado un árbol nacional.
