Over the last few days you will notice the blue tit has been very busy bringing more nesting material into the box
This first picture was a couple of days ago
And this picture is from today
She also seems to be doing something that I can only imagine is trying to dry the moss out a bit ( I could be wrong)
She does this a lot
I don’t know how much nesting material she will bring in before she starts the construction of the nest I say this because she just seems to move it about at the moment that’s why I think it’s got something to do with drying the moss out

We had a bird make a nest in one of our roll up doors at the storage once. And when i cleaned it out i swear there was almost a whole bail of hay in there!

In years gone by before the camera when I’ve seen birds taking nesting material into a box I always thought they were building a nest I had no idea of this process but who would sleep on a damp bed, thanks mike
