The Sandfalls of Saudi Arabia...

I did not know such things even existed but sandfalls are actually real.
It seems that this is a relatively new phenomena and is caused by flooding or strong winds which causes sand to behave like a liquid, below is footage of this rare phenomena.

Below is another clip that seems to be the result of strong winds but still quite the spectacle.

Fun Fact

Saudi Arabia has no permanent lakes or rivers but instead there are "Wadis" which are river beds that are completely dry or begin to flow after heavy rains.

Really interesting stuff. Im a Saudi and never heard of sandfalls. From his dress and talk i can recognize him as a Saudi for the first clip.the other clip i can hear his daughter calling for him. Looks like he got buried in his the sand while making the clip and she was worried.

I never heard of sandfalls before this either Saudi Arabia looks like an amazing country i hope to visit one day...
