The conquest of mount White or as I stood on a snowboard)

Hello everyone! I don't like winter. Or rather, I don't like the cold. I always freeze quickly and prefer to stay at home with a mug of hot tea this time of year. Needless to say that I was not involved in winter sports for obvious reasons. I went several times to the rink, but that doesn't count. And my husband is fond of snowboarding. He has snowboard, complete outfit, good company for fun trips. He tried to infect me with his enthusiasm, but I would not agree.

And I woke up this morning and thought, why can't I try. Near my town there is a pretty famous ski resort. It is a mountain "White". Up to this point can be reached by car or bus. It takes about an hour.

So we left the baby's grandmother and went to conquer the mountain. In 25 degrees below zero. From the house we left late afternoon and drove in the twilight. On both sides of the road is growing dense pine forest. You know, I just remember images from the movie "Twilight". The landscape is very similar.

I slid down the mountain 3 times. Almost all the time I was driving on the edge. Tried several times to travel as needed, to shift weight from one foot to the other. Without drops has not done. But I really liked it. On the mountain we spent 1.5 hours, freezing my face and hands. When we sat in the warm car and drank hot tea from a thermos - I was happy. On the way back I was thinking why I tried to get back on a snowboard before?

I guess what I'm saying. In life you need to try everything. After all, you never know what you like until you try. The snowboard will not be my hobby, but I occasionally plan to go for a ride. I can consider it as physical exercise and walk in the fresh air.
