I have written about my Beehive before also, how it's been growing and giving me the purest honey time to time. But this summer season with all my other plants my beehive also got impacted. Due to excess heat, the bees flew away and the hive started getting dried up. I did not remove the hive as some bees were still on it and I had hope that they will come back again once the weather gets better and exactly that's what is happening right now.
One of hubby's friend is expert in managing the bees, he does it so swiftly and gently that the bees never bite him. Every time I need to extract honey, I call for his help and he does the whole process for me, he never wears any special gear or gloves to do it, does it with his hands and never gets a single bite. I feel he truly is blessed by nature.
The bees are back on the hive and possibly in another 2 to 3 months time it will be ready for extracting the honey.
We cut out the dried part of the honeycomb for the bees to settle down well on the part that is still alive.

Now let's hope that my plant and the hive both grow back healthy.
