Bald Mountain

in nature •  7 years ago

In such places breathtaking, and the wind chokes and rips off the caps.
Here you want to stretch out your arms and fly ...

The city of Gorokhovets, that in the Vladimir region. True, Nizhny Novgorod was luckier - they are closer to it.
In addition to the mass of attractions, which is rich in the town, there is also it - Bald Mountain

There is a convenient path from the tile to the place.
Believe me, when you go back, you will be grateful to her.

Someone left a memory. Apparently, to return again.

Birches.
Surprisingly, there is almost no vegetation. Scientists explain this by a clay layer of soil.

And here is the Bald Mountain itself!
And not just a hill, it's a real archaeological monument.
After the revolution, excavations were conducted here, during which traces of the settlement of people and objects of their life were found as early as the 5th century BC and later.
In the times of Finno-Ugrians it was a cult place of worship for pagan deities.
Well, with the arrival of the Mongol-Tatars, one of the noble commanders of Ulu-Muhammad found his last refuge here.

Going out on a mountain, you feel the warmth of it and of course you are delighted with the species around.
Almost hundred meters above Klyazma ...

In good, snowy years, the spill goes to the horizon.

The Vladimir region extends to the West.
Somewhere there Vyazniki.

In the east - Gorokhovets, and behind it the Nizhny Novgorod land.

Real space and pure positive!
I want to scream and fly!
