Today is World Elephant's Day: Sadly, the largest land Animal is now categorized as one of the Endangered species. No one could understand the pleasure in killing animals for sports and leisure

In the dark ages, when animals were killed for food and clothing to survive the crude nature, it was and understandable endeavor in order for mankind to survive. Man without food is a dead man!

Thanks to civilization, humans can now live on other means of feeding and to survive without Ex-terminating other inhabitants of the planet- Mother Earth!

Every 15 minutes, the World loses an Elephant to poachers who need just their tusks and to harsh environmental degradation. And so this day on World Elephant's day; South Africa brand "Amarula" teamed up with Wildlife DIRECT to bring the awareness of the disappearing African Elephant to the Whole wide World.

A 9.5 ft, 18,000 lb ice sculpture in shape of Elephant is engraved at the Union Square, New York City for the whole World to see.

Throughout the summer day, the sculpture will melt; representing the dwindling 400,000 population of African Elephants left on Earth.
