Interesting article about how the Lake Pontchartrain Basin will be getting fifty three million from the new infrastructure bill. It's good to see the government wasting some money natures way for a change, lol. But in all seriousness, the wetlands around New Orleans and Baton Rouge need to be protected or that whole area will turn to open water, and flooding will increase greatly. Building a city over a swamp was not a great idea to begin with, but not protecting the land around your city would be a worse idea.....

Somebody knows somebody..... I don't agree with it but that seems to be the way things work in government.

That doesn't sound like a lot to me considering the trillions they are spending, lol

It was not a good idea to start building a city on a swamp, but not protecting the land around your city would be a bad idea ..... you have chosen a very imported point Your post is commendable
