What I like about joining tree planting activity is the environmental awareness it brings out to any participants. We also acquire deeper appreciation of our mother nature making us want to take action and sudden rush of self-awareness on how we can help protect the environment and be a responsible stewards of God's creations.

Indeed, @elgeko!:) We should plant more than we cut for. Sadly, there are still those groups who continue to cut even the young trees... :( I hope everyone feels the same about planting more trees. The global warming is really getting scary...
