Exactly what I DON'T want to come home to..
Unfortunately, this type of thing happens. One of our ducks was busy hatching some Guinea Fowl eggs while incubating some of her own, and a Black Rat Snake came along for a meal. Sadly, she won't be hatching any more Guineas for us, and she as in the process of losing one of her own eggs when I stumbled upon it. Since I had the GoPro in my pocket, I figured I's record a bit of to share with those who have never seen just how big a snakes mouth can get.
Very brave to catch that snake...
As far I know that kind of species are not dangerous, but my brain couldn't care less... While running on the trails they're usually one or two snakes, more dangerous, but they usually hide and I only hear. something in the arbust....
