MEANWHILE AT THE BIRD FEEDER...

This was a good time.

Down the street from us lives an older couple who are a real joy to hang out with. We get along with them great, and they enjoy seeing the @little-peppers. We've gotten our cow from them and @bluerthangreen and @allforthegood picked up some goats for them, so there is some obvious lifestyle overlap with the couple.

While were enjoying the weather on the back porch overlooking the pond, I noticed a lot of activity at a nearby bird feeder, so I had Pinkie-Pepper grab my camera. After I tried taking the shots below, she gave it a go too. Hopefully we'll be posting her photos from the @little-peppers account soon. For now, you can see what you think of my photos below. Enjoy!

I absolutely love the photo where the male cardinal is tilting his head and appears to be staring right at you. "Who are you looking at?!" :) All of the pictures are great!

Excellent pictures those @papa-pepper ..Actually,We are harvesting pepper here..Your name came to my mind during the work..Do you cultivate pepper? Here you can see the pepper plant I'm plucking from along with the ladder while typing this comment(actually it's a tea break)

wow this is very good, very perfect picture, @papa-pepper wear what camera.
the red one is what the name of the bird.
so the problem of the cattle why, what the ox is missing.

Love the photos of the male cardinal. We used to have one that came to my kitchen window every day looking for food. He was so vain, preening himself in the reflection of the glass. Love this kind of interaction with nature.

the birds are beautiful. And the quality of the photography is superb, thanks to your camera. I observed that homesteading is like a communal activity over there. It's lovely as you will all have diverse of animals to breed and probably exchange.

It is so hard for me to make a pick. They are all amazing pictures. You really know how to capture the moment Papa. It is as a result of constant practice or you are really into photography? Hahaha i love that red bird with the "mohawk" style of hair haha...love their blend of colours.

The second picture is one of the best, it was take just in the right moment. My other favorite is one where the cardinal looks to the camera like "You looking for troubles, bro?"
