The Speckled Kingsnake!

It's so nice to be able to see these on my property. Of all the snakes out there, this is one of my favorite species. Their coloration and pattern brings back wonderful childhood memories of my favorite television show... static. Check out these photos from earlier!

        It is getting ready to shed. They don't have eyelids, so when they shed, the whole thing peels off.
