Pink flowers to believe in...

Sometimes, i just want something to believe in, something to trust at night, when the darkness comes over and the city goes silent, the wind sounds of more, something that brings rest and comfort to the mind when I fall asleep at night.
I often find that something to be found outside, where trees grow and birds sing and life goes on.

I chase that something
to belive in
But i don’t
believe

I chase that light
to guide me
But I’m not
lost

I chase that sound
to listen to
But I don’t
hear

I chase that voice
to speak with
But I don’t
talk

I chase that innocence
to wonder by
But I’m not
innocent

I chase that nature
to be found within
But I don’t
find

I chase that mystery
to make sense
But i’m not
mysterious
