Interestingly, swallow birds are animal species that do accompany human beings and thus construct their own nests on same buildings. They often use mud, mix with water and ferried with the use of their peaks to their building sites. Mostly, this is often done a distance further away so as to avoid interference during this activity.
Keenly followed, one will realize that once their nests built and are destroyed, some often migrate but some will persist and look for areas in the same building that cannot reach. They are some species that use grass in making their nests but the one with black color and brown necks usually use mud in constructing theirs. They feed on insects, worms and waste food and so do their young ones.
As I was growing they were found in our compound and I always contributed in the destruction but they refused to migrate and today they are still there, with several generations produced. They normally lay only two eggs implying everything being equal all the eggs are often hashed.
They are mostly found in nicely constructed houses to some extent and some church buildings and this makes them free from predators such as snakes and man since we don’t eat them. They often live happily and are friendly, thus that is the wonders of nature.
