Este es un animal conocido por todos, ya que siempre se le consigue caminando pegado a las paredes y techos de nuestras casas.
Aquí en Venezuela se le conoce como Tuqueque o limpia casas, en Europa se le conoce como Salamanquesas, Perenquén y en algunos lugares de Francia se les dice Dragó.
Su tamaño puede llagar hasta unos 12 a 13 cm, y son de ojos grandes por ser animales nocturnos.

Su es predominantemente en zonas urbanas, dentro de las casas.
Su alimento:
Su comida predilecta son pequeños animales que habitan también en las casas como son Arañas, escorpiones pequeños, cucarachas, moscas, polillas, mosquitos etc.
Esos animalitos lo hay en todos los climas, porque en el balcón de mi casa siempre aparecen y allí hace frío.
