Hey there, it has been a great while since my first post. But that silence is going to stop right now. This and the last year I was able to spend one year in the USA. During that time many places were visited and at least as many pictures were taken by me.
Now I will start with a series of diffrent posts about all the adventures. It will manly be pictures so that i won't bore you too much ;)
By far my biggest adventure was the time where I was able to freely travel through the USA, just by car. We travelled in a can with a bed and a tent.
A very well known destination of us was the Yosemie National Park in California. It's gigantic and seems to stretch out forever! We got there around 8 o'clock in the morning. After a short breakfest with my beloved coffee we wanted to get started...
Our goal: Having a great hike and reaching the top of the Yoesemite Falls ~740m in hight. At the beginnning everything was perfect and we were enjoying a wonderful view over the valley.
The way turned a couple times and we were surprised that we already saw the top of the mountain! A ranger in the valley told us that we wuld need 4-5 hours to reach the top and we already reached it after 2 hours! Everyone in the group felt amazing, thinking that we were some kind of super fit group and perfectly equipped for hiking...
You might already know that this was not the end of the hike. After the top, we had saw the real montain top and it was still a looong way to go, but we could already see the waterfall and it was amazing! Everyone knows that moment when one is really stunned and doesn't know what to say. This was such a moment. It was a wonderful sight!
Here a cold fresh water spring served us well and we filled our bottles, becuase 2 liters would never last long enough for each one. For 20 more minutes we rested and watched the waterfall.
Afterwards we wanted to reach our final goal: the mountain top. We split in two groups. One was almost running up the mountain and the others enjoyed the hike a little bit more slowly. I for my part took it more camly. There were still pictures to make during the way up ;)
Eventually we reached the top and were stunned again. An incredible landscape greeted us and I have neverseen something alike. It was like a miracle.
We spend more than 1 hour at the top before we went down. I never slept so good on a thin air matress. I would do the same thing over and over again if I could! But new adventures awaited, like the Grand Canyon and the Redwood Forrest.
Thanks for reading & please consider commenting I am always open for conversation and tips!
