I have only seen artichokes in a store; I never knew they grew like this.

Thanks , if left on the plant a globe artichoke opens to an amazing purple flower a little similar looking to a huge purple thistle flower This one is dried so the purple colour has turned to brown and gold and the seeds are about to explode

I didn't know artichokes would or could flower!
That is the coolest thing I have learned today by far. Thank you for sharing. I garden, but have never considered growing artichokes- although I LOVE them. I'm just not sure they would grow in my zone very well.

Have a quick look at this and they are really easy from seeds and YES you can grow in MICHEGAN they are a fabulous and rewarding plant to have in the garden. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh that's wonderful!!! I will have to check and see about what I need to get and do. I love eating artichoke hearts in a salad! And they can be quite expensive at stores! thank you!

With just a few plants you can produce loads of artichokes - too many to eat but great to give away to friends too ☺️Or go into the artichoke business - honestly they are so easy
