Observe, learn, observe again, learn even more. Humans need to stop "fixing" things that they do not fully understand, to see that it was not broken. we need to switch to a maintenance mindset instead. Observe a system and see what makes it tick and when you do see tick with it.
For example, You can try to fix deforestation by planting more trees, but those trees might not be in balance with the forest nutrients or the amount of sunlight that hits the forest floor for the small vegetation that sustains the local wildlife roaming the floor and maintaining it. It would cause even more deforestation in the long run. Don't force expansion make room to allow it.
Don't fight but dance with nature. When nature moves, move with her or be recycled by her.
We are part of the earth system so it goes without saying that we change things within this system. But to think that we are the one making or breaking it is pure arrogance. It's the cooperation of all within the system that ensure it's survival. And we have not been cooperating with this system, we have been taking it apart and putting it back together to be able to take it apart even quicker, using it for our own benefit. But looking back at what we have accomplished: we claim to have set foot in a desolate place though if we continue we might create one where we stand. we are still where we were but our system is changing as our host is fighting its illness. That whichever is not beneficial is simply an obstacle to overcome.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Kill too many, become the target. Consume many, become nutrition. Catch too many, become trapped. Safe to many, become extinct.
Nature is balance and we are tipping her scale.
Ps. at least we die rich safe healthy beautiful smart and with a good job... pfff.
Wow... Interesting...
I wonder how over-population will affect the Earths beautiful greenery in the next 10-50 years.
These greenery are like oxygen to us .. if we remove it or destroy it then we would not be able to survive for longer .
